As someone who travels often, I noticed it has been a hassle to send flight details, update each loved one on my various travel statuses, and continue updates throughout inevitable delays.
To remedy this, I wanted to take the opportunity to develop a mobile app that allows users to easily share their flight information, and allow loved ones to track flight progress in an interactive automated way.
My current focus in this project is developing a server that tracks flights using real time ADS-B satellite data. After building out some essential user flows and interactions, I have narrowed down what kinds of data is necessary to allow for a seamless user experience that truly gives insight into flight progress. Please stay tuned for some more updates as I build and learn through the experience.
